Job Description: The Business Development Intern will work as a contractor and will be responsible for creating new partnerships and clients to subscribe to the Immuto API. This position is a great way to gain experience in software sales and to gain a strong knowledge of blockchain technology while working with a rapidly growing startup. This person will work on a strictly commission-based compensation. Responsibilities: Cold calling, e-mailing, and LinkedIn messaging leads provided by Immuto Informational sales calls with prospects Learning Immuto’s product offering Establishing an intermediate understanding of non-technical blockchain information There is no set time requirement associated with this position. The contractor will partake in the sales cycle on their own schedule and is permitted to contract with other organizations while giving Immuto their services. Desired Experience: Currently in college or recent graduate Basic knowledge or interest in blockchain and emerging technology Prior experience in a sales or client facing role Proficient communication and writing ability Compensation: This is a strictly commission based contractor position. You are not entitled to any employee benefits or a promised salary. You may receive up to 15% commission of the annual subscription cost paid by your client. You may also be entitled to a bonus if certain milestones are met. A specific breakdown of compensation payouts will be provided to you prior to an official contractor agreement is signed. All compensation paid to you hereunder shall constitute earnings to Contractor from self-employment income. Company shall not withhold any amounts therefrom as federal or state income tax withholding from wages or as employee contributions under the Federal Insurance Contributions Act (Social Security) or any similar federal or state law applicable to employers and employees.
