Job Description

Are you a Developer with extensive C# / .Net experience?

We are currently working with an engineering-led company who has put together a great team of developers, researchers and marketers and are now looking for a Blockchain Developer to join them. This company is contributing to developing a new generation of Distributed Ledger Technology aimed at developers and enterprises so this is an amazing opportunity to contribute to something groundbreaking.

In this role you will be working with the engineering team, taking ownership of several tasks to further advance the roadmap deployment. You will develop the core DLT protocol, consensus and smart contract system and proactively contribute to the idea generation process.

With experience working on different areas of Blockchain and DLT (including consensus mechanisms, implementing support for running smart contracts and new cryptographic solutions using zero-knowledge proofs) you will have strong .Net Core development experience alongside experience of contributing to open-source software projects and understanding open-source communities dynamics. Strong experience working in socket level communication is a must (Dotnetty experience is a bonus) and strong knowledge of SOLID principles, IoC and dependency injection. Bonus skills would include backend scripting language (like NodeJS/PHP/Java) and you would have been a contributor to a major Blockchain protocol project in the past (such as Ethereum, Neo, Bitcoin, R3 Corda).

This role gives you the opportunity to join a growing, intelligent team that will drive business change. This company has a start-up culture in a friendly and fast-paced environment and you will also benefit from all the free coffee and beer that you can drink! Add to that a salary of up to £75,000 per year and some great benefits, what are you waiting for?

Please note: All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK as Visa sponsorship is not offered with this role.
