BitPay is headquartered in Atlanta (USA) and has teams based in San Francisco (USA), Tucuman (Argentina), and Utrecht (The Netherlands). We are the leading bitcoin merchant processor globally, and we're now receiving more interest than ever from businesses who want to use our platform for payments.

As a Sales Development Representative you will be an integral member of a growing global sales team at BitPay. You will learn sales methodology and talk with customers large and small around the world. You are going to be explaining to customers how bitcoin is revolutionizing the financial payment system.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be the first line of communication with customers from around the world
  • Handle all inbound leads, qualify and explain how bitcoin works
  • Close smaller deals and qualify larger ones for the enterprise sales reps
  • Work with marketing on marketing campaigns and lead generation
  • Manage all activity in Salesforce
  • Develop account penetration strategies and new verticals to call on
  • Think outside the box as bitcoin is a new product that is changing the world
  • Participate as a team member for sales training, education, and customer support

Required Skills
  • 4 year college degree
  • Must be organized, detail, and process oriented
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a growing startup work environment
  • Passion for changing the world and the future of payments
