BitPay is building blockchain payment technology that is transforming how businesses and people send, receive, and store money. We're growing fast and we are seeking a versatile senior business development leader with experience with enterprise full cycle sales. The General Manager, APAC is responsible for leading the business strategy and development of all sales in the Asia-Pacific region including merchant processing, B2B, and launching the debit card.
Our ideal candidate is an effective and highly motivated sales leader with experience with payment products and enterprise accounts, managing high-performing sales teams and a proven ability to execute sales processes and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop sales plan, including an effective sales process, territories and compensation
- Drive revenue by consistently achieving individual and team quotas
- Cross-functional collaboration with all departments to ensure successful growth of BitPay's card program
- Report metrics including prospecting activities, opportunities created, and pipeline
- Negotiate with strategic partners and enterprise clients
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation campaigns or other lead activities
- Monitor and analyze market sales trend
- 10+ years leading international business development strategies for technology products and services
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Proven ability to lead high performing sales teams
- 5+ years of payments and cards experience with expertise in prepaid cards, Visa preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Results oriented and ability to work independently
- Passion for cryptocurrency is a plus!
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
