Job Description


Core Responsibilities

Examining source code (detecting complicated bugs and vulnerabilities) Process revision operations (such as constructing the test environment) Quality improvement operations (review the technical level and support the improvement of skills of team members)

Qualifications
  Required Skills
Have knowledge on the common vulnerabilities of web applications (such as SQL injection or cross-site scripting) Have experience performing software tests and vulnerability diagnoses on multiple systems utilizing multiple servers Able to easily read and write in languages that support object-oriented programming Knowledge of data structure and algorithms
  Desired Skills
Able to bypass WAF by oneself Have participated in security camp or security-related study groups Knowledge in exclusive controls utilizing RDBMS or NoSQL Knowledge of .NET Framework and ASP.NET

bitFlyer recorded the largest monthly trading volume, virtual currency trading service utilization rate, and virtual currency trading app utilization rate in Japan according to research performed by Macromill (online survey published on the Japanese Bitcoin information site, JPBitcoin.com, in February 2018; "Virtual Currency and Cryptocurrency Trading Service Survey"). bitFlyer had the largest monthly trading volume recorded between April 2016 and January 2018 in Japan (includes spot, net settlement, and futures trading).

Office Environment

In October 2017, we moved to Roppongi's landmark Tokyo Midtown. Not only is it an excellent location, but the interior of our office is designed to completely maximize our operational efficiency. Naturally, our engineers, corporate staff, and back office employees all enjoy high spec PCs with large monitors. The chairs used in our office were selected by polling our employees. As for keyboards, graphics tablets, and software, each employee is allowed to choose which specific ones they want to use.
