Polymath is looking for an exceptional newly graduated business student to join our growing Finance Team.  This is the perfect opportunity for a new graduate looking for their first opportunity to enter the finance and startup world, and has a strong desire to complete their professional accounting designation. Being part of a start-up means wearing multiple hats - and this role is no exception.

This role will provide a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a  finance group from the ground up including corporate reporting, treasury, financial planning & analysis and tax. You will be working with a group of experienced and talented CPA’s from Big 4 accounting firms who will personally mentor your professional and career development.   

You will be responsible for maintaining the financial records for multiple corporate entities. As Corporate Accountant you will engage in full cycle accounting, accounts payable, and treasury.  This role will be awarded to an ambitious individual who has a strong desire to grow their career and seek advancement.


  • Create and post journal entries for multiple corporate entities and holding companies;

  • Manage treasury functions including bank wires and reconciliations;

  • Assist the Senior Accountant in setting up new accounting processes as required

  • Monitor and reconcile intercompany and other specific accounts

  • Process A/P transactions & expense reports

  • Prepare daily bank entries and reconciliations

  • Compile monthly invoices

  • Support annual budget process

  • Assist in preparing tax and transfer pricing schedule

  • Assist in other duties, as required


  • University degree from a top tier university in accounting, finance, or economics.

  • Strong GPA (3.3 and above).

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with intermediate knowledge of Excel;

  • Ability to prioritize tasks;

  • Superb written and oral communication skills;

  • Can-do attitude and always willing to help others in the finance team on deadlines;

  • Responsible, works well independently as well as in a team;

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and affiliates;

  • Attention to detail and self motivated;

  • Analyze data and focus on continuous improvement;

  • Be organized and troubleshoot problems;

  • Obtain or provide routine information;

  • Overtime as required
