Compensation is meaningful to our team and we are excited to bring someone Coinbase that can help us be more thoughtful and considered about our global compensation philosophy. Working with colleagues in HR, Recruiting, Finance, and Senior Leadership you will advise on Coinbase's rewards strategies and related programs.


What You Will Do:

  • Support design and implementation of compensation-related initiatives, linking programs to overall compensation philosophy and corporate culture.
  • Administer compensation initiatives, annual focal planning, bonus and incentive plans.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and modeling for compensation programs, including annual budgets, competitive assessments of pay trends and impacts, and equity utilization
  • Partner with compensation colleagues, using tools and benchmarking surveys to make sure our compensation approach is market-leading, scalable, and internally aligned
  • Guide Leaders, Recruiting and HR Business Partners on compensation philosophy, practices, and programs; bringing expertise and analysis to drive more informed decisions
  • Assist in preparation and execution of headcount forecasting, compensation structure, pay reviews, equity programs, salary surveys, and communications
  • Provide advice for new hire offer creation globally
  • Work with legal and a third party consultant to conduct an objective, statistical pay equity analysis annually.

Skills and experience you'll need:

  • 5-8 years experience as a Compensation Analyst
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and establishing/tracking effective metrics
  • Experience working in a dynamic, engineering-oriented culture
  • Proven project management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Very detail oriented and customer service focused
  • Familiarity with global compensation strategies, understanding regional pay differences
