Principal Accountabilities:

The primary purpose of this role is to lead our global Equity Index Product Marketing efforts. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing product marketing campaigns and working with the Financial Product Marketing Lead and Equity Index Product Team to help define the overall marketing strategy and plan for the related products. The Marketing Manager will work directly with the customer, operations, education, digital and regional marketing teams in order to implement these campaigns.

CME Group is the world's largest derivatives exchange and Equity Index products are world-leading futures and options on equity indexes around the world. Equity Index Products at CME Group include the renowned E-mini S&P, partnerships with index providers from the UK to Japan as well as other exchanges, and include our first ever cryptocurrency Bitcoin future.

This is a global role, suitable to an individual with a strong understanding of financial markets, a demonstrated track record of B2B marketing success, and a willingness and creativity to be part of a financial marketing team, which aims to be the best in the market.

This position will report to the Director, Financial Product Marketing.

This role will require understanding the business line marketing needs and the ability to identify the most effective way to utilize our marketing tools to meet those needs. Self-directed management of marketing campaigns is crucial while also collaborating with the appropriate marketing and product teams to ensure on-time delivery and incorporating the necessary follow up to manage a campaign successfully.

There are eight primary areas of focus for the role:
Work to develop a strategic marketing plan for related products Identify CME product positioning and marketing needs for campaigns Create campaigns to meet those needs Work with regional, education, customer, execution and third parties as required, to implement these campaigns Work with marketing operations team to ensure campaigns are created, executed and tracked Create and maintain quarterly data dashboards and bi-annual strategy documents Participate and contribute to the overall financial marketing effort Be mindful of the goals of the division and aim to represent them in all areas of work, communication and collaboration

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics)
  • Masters in Marketing is a plus
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Financial services industry experience
