AlphaPoint, a leading blockchain provider is actively seeking an organized, motivated, and focused Senior Project Manager develop technical solutions for industry leading digital currency exchanges and custom blockchain solutions. We are looking for an individual who can coordinate amongst our development teams. Responsibilities will include, collection of business and system requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing production launches.

Job Responsibilities:

As a key member of the development team, you will:

  • Manage projects from kickoff to product launch using Agile practices
  • Work with product management, development and engineering teams to determine requirements and assess the full scope of technical dependencies
  • Participate in the creation of new processes and tools as necessary to support the needs and requirements of a fast-growing business.
  • Incorporate requirements from external parties and assess impact on project timetables and deliverables
  • Balance business needs versus technical capabilities
  • Break down complex tasks into manageable pieces and prioritize to meet business objectives
  • Ensure status, issues, and risks are tracked and effectively communicated to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Overall end-to-end accountability for delivery of large scale projects/program's to agreed standards.
  • Ensuring project governance and controls are implemented.
  • Balance business needs with technical and security restraints.
  • Create and deliver presentations to senior management on strategic analysis and engage discussions around these strategies.
  • Possess strong business judgement, influencing skills, leadership and integrity.
  • Be a self-starter that can work autonomously, take initiative and are highly motivated.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience within a Software Development role or related.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with JIRA and Confluence.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with business analysis, data analysis, technical project management or related role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership and influential role.
  • At least 8 years of experience managing large-scale projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Knowledge of Bitcoin, Blockchain, or Cryptocurrencies
  • At least 2 years of experience of working knowledge in trading or post-trading systems, payment systems, or financial processing systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience working within an Agile environment.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing large-scale projects within the FinTech space.
  • PMI or PMP Certification
