About Protocol Engineering
ConsenSys Quorum is an open source protocol layer that enables enterprises to leverage Ethereum for their production blockchain applications. Businesses can rely on Quorum to provide the enterprise-grade networks they need to unlock value with blockchain. On top of Quorum, you can integrate product modules from ConsenSys, third-party vendors, or your own in-house development to build high-performance, customizable applications.
About the role
The Strategy & Operations Associate is a highly visible role that will help to bring Protocols' products to market and operate the Protocols business unit in a highly efficient manner. This role is both strategic and operational. Your responsibilities will include: design and implement processes to help Protocols grow, support larger efforts to scale Protocols products, position Protocols within a complex and rapidly evolving market, and design strategic programs and execute on those programs. You will work directly with the Protocols Group Manager, the Protocols leadership team and other leadership members across ConsenSys.
  • Bring Protocols products to market, and establish a process for future products
  • Coordinate with other ConsenSys products and support units to ensure alignment across efforts and various priorities, including training, developer experience, enterprise strategy, etc.
  • Help the many projects that Protocols supports launch effectively
  • Implement processes to reduce friction, enabling all team members to spend their time on what they do best
  • Manage metrics and reporting for Protocols business unit
  • Take on, strategize and implement special projects as they come up
  • Lead and support strategic partnerships with external stakeholders

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 to 5 years work experience in an operational role, potentially at a technology company or management consulting firm
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, workflows, and people to drive tasks to completion
  • Strong business acumen and a commitment to excellence. First-hand experience participating in significant strategic decisions alongside leadership teams
  • Experience navigating and working within a complex, matrixed environment and experience managing relationships, business dynamics, internal/external partners, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated analytical skills. You know what questions to ask of data and you're not afraid to dive into excel from time to time

  • Worked with open-source software products and open-source communities
  • Experience working in a start-up culture
  • An understanding of the Blockchain and Ethereum ecosystem, with an interest and curiosity to learn more
  • Experience working in a globally distributed and/or remote team
