What you'll be doing: 
  • Act as Coinbase's externally-facing point of contact for customer complaints submitted to regulatory agencies around the world.
  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Global Intake System and other processes associated with document management and control. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve the document management system.
  • Maintain up-to-date contact information for regulators to send customer complaints.
  • Log, track, and assign incoming requests from regulatory agencies. Calendar to ensure timely responses. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure incoming requests and associated tasks are transmitted to the correct Coinbase team for response preparation. 
  • Log and manage database of assignments, notifications, distributions and response archive.
  • Help with overflow litigation matters as needed

What we look for in you: 
  • Previous success efficiently and effectively handling government agency requests for information and documents. 
  • Demonstrated ability to organize cross functional response.
  • Proven track record of succeeding in a deadline driven environment.
  • Well-honed professional judgement in communications tone and tenor.
  • Experience handling high volume of documents cross functionally. 
  • Extraordinarily organized with extreme attention to detail, and equally proficient proofreading skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. 
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Jira (or other ticketing system) SalesForce, Advologix, SimpleLegal, and/or Slack.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Able to think critically and come up with creative solutions.
  • At least 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in a similar operations role. 

Nice to haves: 
  • Experience working in house at  a financial services or other regulated industry.
  • Expertise in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency a plus.
